The royal couple recently named as the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge landed at Los Angeles, California last Friday, July 08, 2011. It was planned to be a three-day visit which includes that of rubbing shoulders with Hollywood’s movers and shakers.
It has been tagged as a Califonian mini-tour which purports to deepen and strengthen the multi-layered links between the United States and the United Kingdom.
Last Saturday they have been at the Santa Barbara Polo and Racquet Club and in the evening they were at a black-tie dinner hosted by the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) at the Belasco Theater.
Yesterday, they visited Skid Row in downtown and they have also attended a job fair for military veterans at Sony Studios in Culver City.
