Let me just jog your memory on few things about Christopher Reeve. He was an American Actor who played the role of Superman. After an accident he encountered in 1995 he became paralysed and nine years after he died. He and his wife Dana Reeve have a foundation which supported a research which has helped Rob Summers to move again and gained back senses on his lower extremities. Summers is a victim of a hit and run accident which has caused him to become paralysed as well. He was the first patient who responded on the implant of electrical stimulators on the lining of his spinal cord. Sooner or lated he won’t be needing a wheel chair to roam around and the federal mandate to install pool lift on public pools may no longer be applicable for him.
