Natalie Portman and her fiancé, Benjamin Millepied (choreographer and her co-star in Black Swan) welcomed their first baby last month. However, the exact birth date has not yet been revealed.
Lately, they have informed the world of their baby’s name through the The Huffington Post from which they have disclosed its spelling being “Alef”.
Alef or Aleph is the first letter of the Hebrew alphabet. I have reasearched further about its meaning and I guess it is such a nice name for a fist born son which stands for “leader”.
By the way, Natalie is also an Israeli by nationality and she knows how to speak Hebrew.
