In real life, she was a fiancee of the late Heath Ledger whom she met and became her partner in the movie Brokeback Mountain. After which she had a relationship with Spike Jonze – an american director, producer and actor; their relationship ended in 2009.
Recently she became noticeable again on her performances in the movies Meek’s Cut-off and Blue Valentine. She has also caught Spike’s attention once more in which the latter is starting to court her again.
