After pleading guilty to the case of attempted illegal possession of weapon (a loaded .40-caliber semiautomatic gun found in his Maybach sports car back in July 2007), Jeffrey Atkins better known as JA Rule is now preparing himself to get into prison starting June 08, 2011.
He had been into numerous cases before and he even admitted failure of paying taxes lately. On June 13, he will be sentenced about the tax evasion charges.
Ready to get imprisoned, he said “It’s funny because, I’m about to go to jail, and my main concern is to make sure that I get this album done and out there for the fans”. He is referring to his latest album entitled “The Rennaisance Project” which is set to be released on June 07, 2011 – the day before he goes to jail.
