Betty Ford, the wife of former United States President Gerald Ford passed away last Friday, July 08, 2011 at the age of 93. She died at Eisenhower Medical Center in Rancho Mirage.
The cause of her death was not yet revealed while there was an information that she had undergone an undisclosed surgery four years ago. She has established a Betty Ford Center in California where she stood as an advocate of winning against drug and alcohol addiction – she has been a life saver.
There were lots of good testimonies about the late Betty as a friend, wife and mother. She indeed has set a good example during her life time.
